1. Information We Collect
Device and Technical Information
To keep the app stable across different devices, we collect a small amount of non-personal technical information:
- Device model and operating system version
- App version and build number
- Anonymous crash reports and diagnostic data
This information is used to identify bugs, monitor performance, and improve overall stability. It is not tied to your name, email, or any other personally identifying data.
Usage Information
We collect anonymized information about how cleanup features are used — for example, which categories are scanned most often and which actions are confirmed. This data does not identify you and is used solely to improve the product and its defaults.
User-Provided Information
If you contact support, we collect only what you choose to share — typically your email address and the contents of your message. We use this information only to respond to your request.
Permissions
To perform its core functions, the app may ask for access to:
- Photos and Videos — to scan for large media, duplicate shots, screenshots, and items you choose to move into Secure Space
- Contacts — to detect duplicated entries and help you merge them safely
- Calendar — to identify outdated and repeated events for cleanup
- Notifications — to let you know when a long scan finishes
All permissions are optional and can be changed at any time in your device settings. Scans and analyses run on-device — your media, contacts, and calendar entries are not uploaded to our servers as part of normal app operation.
2. How We Use Information
The information we collect is used to:
- Operate, maintain, and secure the app
- Surface cleanup candidates for your review
- Improve performance, reliability, and the quality of recommendations
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not use collected data for behavioral profiling or targeted advertising.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We may rely on a small number of trusted third-party services — such as crash reporting and basic analytics — strictly to diagnose technical issues and improve quality. These services never receive access to your media, contacts, calendar entries, or Secure Space contents, and they are bound to use the data only for the purposes described here.
4. Data Security and Retention
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle, including encryption in transit and access controls on internal systems.
- Secure Space contents are stored locally on your device and protected by a passcode you set. We do not hold a copy and cannot recover them if the passcode is lost.
- Scan results (lists of large, duplicated, or outdated items) live on-device and are discarded when you end a session or close the app.
- Diagnostic data is retained only for as long as needed to investigate issues and improve the product.
5. Children's Privacy
The app is rated 4+ on the App Store, meaning its content is suitable for all ages. However, the app is designed and intended for use by adults managing their own device storage. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and we encourage parents and guardians to supervise their children's use of mobile applications. If we become aware that personal data from a child has been collected without proper consent, we will delete it promptly.
